This casting released as Mantis in 1970. The name was changed to Double Vision in 1973. The name was changed again to Speed Seeker in 1984. After 1987 the car didn’t release for 9 years. The name was finally changed to Speed Machine in 1996. For this variation, each car is unique as the metallic copper spots are random.
This casting debuted in 1996 and was produced until 2004. It was designed by Ira Gilford.
